Who we are

This site is published by Finance Broker Quotes. We publish general information about commercial truck and equipment finance and connect people who request quotes with licensed finance brokers. We are not a lender and we do not provide credit assistance. You can contact us about privacy through our contact form.

What we collect

If you request quotes, we collect what you enter in the form: your name and contact details, your business or trading name and related details such as ABN, years trading and GST registration, and details of the asset and finance you are enquiring about. Browsing the site's guides does not require you to provide personal information. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers.

Why we collect it and what we do with it

We collect quote-request information for one purpose: arranging the finance quotes you asked for. To do that, we disclose your enquiry to one or more licensed finance brokers so they can contact you and prepare quotes. That disclosure is the point of the service and we only make it with the consent you give on the form. We do not sell your information, use it for unrelated marketing, or disclose it to anyone other than the brokers arranging your quotes, unless the law requires us to.

How we hold it

Quote requests are stored encrypted, and access is limited to the operator of this site for the purpose of arranging your quotes. We keep enquiry records only as long as needed to arrange the quotes and to meet legal and record-keeping obligations, then delete them.

Overseas disclosure

We do not disclose your personal information to overseas recipients. The brokers we work with are Australian.

Access and correction

You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your enquiry. Send us a message through our contact form and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Complaints

If you think we have mishandled your personal information, contact us first through our contact form and we will look into it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes

If we change this policy, the updated version will be published on this page.
